Educational Qualifications:

• Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline and having computer knowledge.

Financial Qualifications:

• He/she should have the capability to personally invest 100 percent of the total project cost.

Business experience and skills:

• The individual should possess 1-3 years of experience in any functional area, preferably at the middle management level.
• Be self employed in Business.

Geographical knowledge:

The candidate should have complete knowledge of the regional market.

Eligibility Standard

Computer training institutes desirous of conducting ICST course(s) are obliged to meet the following requirements/standards:

a) Status and Identity

• The institution/organization should be registered under any act of law
• Must show financial stability and sincerity of the purpose.
• Should have conducted similar course for at least one year.

b) Infrastructure - Building and Space

• In the event of the premises being hired, it should be on a minimum 5 years lease.
• Minimum carpet area should be better than 900 sq. ft consisting of at least.
  - One class room to seat 15 students
  - One lab to seat 15 students.
  - Library with common room
  - Reception area, etc.

c) Infrastructure - Equipment

• The minimum number of computer system required should be commensurate with the number of students being trained by the institute and also the geographical location of the institute, subject to at least eight computer systems.
• Not more than two students should work on a single terminal or one PC.
• Software required for the conduct of ICST Course(s) has been prescribed within the relevant syllabus.
• The institute should also possess modern teaching aids such as overhead projectors, video projection, audiovisuals etc if necessary.

d) Teaching & Non-Teaching staffs

• The teaching faculty should consist of at least 2 permanent i.e. Jr. Faculty & Sr. Faculty incumbents who should have been with the institute for not less than six months.
• The institute is permitted to engage one part-time faculty.
• The institute should employ one accountant cum Administration and one office boy.

e) Library

• The institute should maintain a Library.
• The Library should have a good selection of books and should also subscribe to popular periodicals. Sufficient number of books, which are listed in the ICST syllabus, should be also maintained in the library.

Franchisee Support 

Training Support:

• ICST organizes induction programmes for new Business Partners and their staff.
• It undertakes Faculty and Counselor training and certification.
• It hosts sales and marketing training periodically.
• ICST conducts ongoing training on new products.

Systems Support:

• The company designs the admission process.
• It conducts online examinations for students.
• ICST offers a special data management system for maintaining student records and managing centre operations.

Marketing and Advertising Support:

• ICST takes marketing and advertising initiatives at a State level.
• ICST offers new Business Partners an initial start-up kit containing product brochures and promotional material, which is subject to a minimal charge.
